The initial session is all about getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We will discuss your goals, your current challenges, and any history you feel comfortable sharing. It is a collaborative, pressure-free conversation designed to ensure you feel safe and to see how we can best work together.

Standard individual therapy sessions run for 50 minutes. Most clients start by meeting once a week to build momentum and establish a strong foundation. As you make progress and feel more equipped with tools, we can adjust the frequency to bi-weekly or monthly based on your unique needs.

Absolutely. Your privacy is a top priority. Everything discussed within our sessions is strictly confidential and protected by professional ethical standards and legal guidelines. The only rare exceptions involve immediate safety concerns (such as a risk of harm to yourself or others), which we would discuss openly.

I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw from a variety of evidence-based methods—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and person-centered therapy—to tailor our sessions specifically to your personality, goals, and lifestyle. We will work together to find what resonates best with you.
